Despite not being able to vote in the upcoming Bangkok gubernatorial election, foreigners here in the capital are also affected by the way it is run.
Thai PBS World spoke to seven foreigners today. They were of various nationalities and backgrounds, some from Asia and some from Western countries. They work in a wide range of professions and have lived in Thailand for various periods.
We wanted to hear their views and have them discuss how Bangkok could become more liveable, not only for Thais but for everyone.
Held at the Thailand Public Broadcasting Service’s office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, the discussion touched upon issues from road safety and documentation impediments for foreigners to what they want to see from the next leader of the capital.
Stay tuned for the full roundtable soon and more on how these voices could help make the city better.
