On August 13, Ms. Karina Melikyan, Deputy Executive Director and Head of the International Cooperation and Distribution Department at RT, a leading Russian media organization, met with the Director-General of Thai PBS, Dr. Wilasinee Phiphitkul, to further strengthen the partnership between the two media organizations.
Representing Thai PBS in the discussions were Mr. Thepchai Yong, Executive Advisor overseeing news and Thai PBS World Service, Ms. Kanokporn Prasitphol, Director of the Digital Media Center, and Ms. Ruthai Thamsatha, Head of Global Strategy and Partnership.
Thai PBS and RT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2018, laying the foundation for collaboration. The recent meeting aimed to advance this partnership through content and news exchange, shared expertise and training, and special correspondent exchanges.
