Thai PBS Won 2024 Asiavision Awards's Best Coverage of an Issue of Public Interests

Asiavision Awards 2024 celebrates the contributions of Asiavision members over the past year. Hosted by Thai PBS in Bangkok, this year’s awards saw 11 winners in total be recognized in 10 categories.

In the 2024 Asiavision awarding ceremony Gala Dinner at this year's Global News Forum, Thai PBS won the Asiavision Award for 'Best Coverage of an Issue of Public Interest'. The award was presented by Mr Ahmed Nadeem - ABU Secretary-General.

The Awarding Ceremony Gala Dinner opening speech was by Mr Nithee Seeprae, deputy governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, which sponsored the event. He stresses the importance of the news industry and that their “dedication to journalism and storytelling is invaluable to the global community”.
