During the two-month fellowship , they will work alongside the Thai PBS World editorial team in news reporting, interviewing, writing, and multimedia production. They will also take part in activities with Thai government agencies, academic institutions, media associations, and the private sector—gaining deeper insights into Thailand’s history, culture, and society.
We look forward to welcoming them to Thailand and are confident their experience will help strengthen mutual understanding between Thailand and their home countries.
Congratulations to our fellowship recipients!

As a journalist, I believe growth comes from listening, exchanging ideas and seeing the world through different perspectives. Through this fellowship, I look forward to learning from the Thai PBS team and gaining a deeper understanding of Thailand’s media, culture and society. At the same time, I am eager to share my own experiences from the Philippines and to contribute in any way I can during my stay. What makes this fellowship even more meaningful is knowing that the lessons I’ll take with me won’t stay just with me. I hope to bring them back to my own newsroom, sharing new insights, practices and inspiration that can enrich the work we do every day. More than a professional opportunity, I see this fellowship as a bridge between journalists across countries. I am grateful for the chance to cross that bridge and excited for the journey ahead.

To be chosen as a participant in the Thai PBS Journalist Fellowship Programme is a huge honour for me and marks an important milestone in my career. This fellowship presents an opportunity for me to learn from diverse perspectives and gain deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities for media personnel in cross-cultural and international settings. More than just a professional development experience, this programme is a platform to tell stories, represent voices and contribute to the broader narrative of regional cooperation, resilience, and shared identity. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the organisers and selection committee for this incredible opportunity and I am ready to make the most of it.
