USAID Wildlife Asia visits Thai PBS

USAID Wildlife Asia and Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) have been working together to enhance journalist capacity to report on illegal wildlife trafficking.

On 22 August 2019, USAID Wildlife Asia and the delegates of Thai and Tanzania journalists visit Thai PBS as part of the Asia-Africa Journalist Exchange program.

The visiting group is welcomed by Thai PBS Deputy Director-General, Mr. Pipope Panichpakdi, and Thai PBS news team. The panel discussion on ‘The Role of Journalist in Combating Wildlife Trafficking and Challenges’ is held to share experiences among participants. The group also visits Thai PBS facilities such as live broadcasting studios and library.
