On Monday 3 April 2023, The National Press Council of Thailand and the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh led a group of 7 Cambodian media practitioners on a study visit to Thai PBS with the focus on Media’s Self-regulation.
The group was welcomed by Mr. Chakkrit Permpool, Member of the Board of Governors and the Chairperson of Public Complaint Sub-committee and Mr. Nuttaphong Jaruwannaphong, Deputy Director General. The discussion was focused on exchanging views and experiences on media self-regulation in both countries, as well as its procedures and mechanisms that can be applied in Thai and Cambodia media organizations.
