Dr. Sudarat Disayawattana Chantrawatanakul is invited to be a session speaker on session 5 ‘Collaborate or die?’ at PBI 2019 held in Helsinki, Finland between 9-11 September 2019. Public Broadcasters International (PBI) was created on the initiative of TV Ontario and NHK and was soon joined by many others.
Since 1990, public service broadcasting executives from around the world have met annually at the PBI Conference to share experiences and ideas about how best to deal with challenges that are unique to public service broadcasting.
More than 80 public service broadcasters – representing all continents – have become members. The annual PBI conference usually takes place in autumn and is hosted by a member broadcaster representing the different continents in rotating order.
During her trip to Helsinki, Dr. Sudarat takes this opportunity to visits Yle, Finland’s Public Broadcaster to discuss and share experiences on public media strategies and digital transformation.
